چکیده

The recycling and re-usability of the waste materials are great importance meaning when evaluated in terms ecological order. Furthermore, cold formed steel has importance, nowadays. aim this study is to investigate bending shear behavior composite by pouring polymer into I U profile melds after homogenous pulping. best results strengths were obtained with melted polypropylene. enhanced adherence between molted PP increased capacity, both. Moreover, it reinforced carbon fiber glass bars increase profiles filled polymer. Changing cross-sectional area beams under moment an effect on load at yielding, ultimate strength, displacement values corresponding these loads, ductility energy dissipation capacity. addition CFRP significantly capacity free end region force. GFRP higher elongation caused ductile than bars.

Local Buckling Tests on Cold-Formed Steel Beams

C and Z sections are two of the most common cold-formed steel shapes in use today. Accurate prediction of the bending performance of these sections is important for reliable and efficient cold-formed steel structures. Recent analytical work has highlighted discontinuities and inconsistencies in the American Iron and Steel Institute ~AISI! and Canadian Standards Association ~S136! design provisi...

Distortional Buckling Tests on Cold-Formed Steel Beams

Failure in cold-formed steel beams is generally initiated by one of three instabilities: local, distortional, or lateral-torsional buckling. For cold-formed steel joists, purlins, or girts, when the compression flange is not restrained by attachment to sheathing or paneling, distortional buckling may be the predominant failure mode. Experimental results on cold-formed steel beams with unrestrai...

Effect of type and distribution of shear studs on the behavior of composite steel-concrete shear walls

In this research in-plane shear Behavior of composite steel-concrete shear walls was investigated considering the Effects of steel plates thickness, spaces between shear studs, shape and type of shear studs and existing of minimum reinforcement in wall section. Several finite element models were analyzed and Numerical results of two models were taken under verification with existent experimenta...

Behavior of Steel–Concrete Composite Beams with Corroded Shear Studs Under Negative Bending Moment

The behavior of corroded steel–concrete composite beams under hogging moment was studied by experimental investigation and theoretical analysis. A total of eight specimens, six of which had corroded shear studs, were tested. The corrosion rate of studs ranged from 0 to approximately 50%. The constant-current accelerated corrosion method was adopted to accelerate the corrosion process. The loadi...

Finite Element Instability Analysis of the Steel Joist of Continuous Composite Beams with Flexible Shear Connectors

Composite steel/concrete beams may buckle in hogging bending regions. As the top flange of I-beam in that arrangement is restricted from any translational deformation and twist, the web will distort during buckling presenting a phenomenon often described as restricted distortional buckling. There are limited studies available in the literature of restricted distortional buckling of composite st...
